Contents of the Declaration - Senate Bill 283, Section 6, Subsection 2 These are the individual items that both parties entering into the partnership must swear to:
You and your partner have chosen to share in one another’s lives in an intimate and committed relationship of mutual caring;
You and your partner desire of your own free will to enter into a domestic partnership; You and your partner have a common residence shared by both domestic partners on at least a party-time basis;
Neither partner is married or a member of another domestic partnership;
You and your partner are not related by blood in a way that would prevent you from being married to each other in this State;
You and your partner are both at least 18 years of age; and
You and your partner competent to consent to the domestic partnership.
Rights of Domestic Partners in Nevada-Senate Bill 283, Section 7, Subsection 1(a)
Domestic Partners have the same rights, protections and benefits, and are subject to the same responsibilities, obligations and duties under law, whether derived from statues, administrative regulations, court rules, government policies, common law or any other provisions or sources of law, as are granted to and imposed upon spouses.
